Daniel  Bigman, MD, MHS, PA-C

Dr. Bigman is a New York City native who completed his undergraduate degree at St. John's University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and completed the Physician Assistant Education Program at St. Vincent's Catholic Medical Centers.  He has been a Physician Assistant for over a decade with extensive experience in Medicine and Surgery, intensive psychiatric hospital care, inpatient medical detox units, and outpatient mental health care.  In addition, Dr. Bigman has been a medical specialist and consultant for the health care industry.


Dr. Bigman resides in Philadelphia after his graduate studies at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA, then obtaining a graduate degree at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, DC, and Doctorate from the AUIS St. Maarten School of Medicine. Dr. Bigman completed an internship then general Psychiatry residency program at Cooper University Hospital of Cooper Medical School, Rowan University, in Camden, NJ.  Then completed as Chief Fellow after an additional two years of fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, in Lebanon, NH.  Dr. Bigman is double board certified in general Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, American Board of Medical Specialties.


Dr. Bigman completed the Psychodynamic Psychotherapy program at the Psychoanalytic Center of Philadelphia and is currently a candidate member of the Child and Adult Psychoanalytic program.  Dr. Bigman has published and has clinical interests in neurodevelopmental disorders, inheritable genetic disorders, neuropsychiatric phenomena, sleep medicine, neuropsych testing, behavioral interventions, and psychodynamic treatments.
